IRON COUNTY – The filing period ended July 15 to run for elected positions in city government for several municipalities in the county.

From Cedar City to Paragonah the mayor’s position is open along with one to three council seats. Here is the complete listing of candidates by city.

The number of candidates for races in Cedar City, Enoch and Parowan requires primaries, which will take place Sept. 15, to narrow down the field of candidates. Paragonah does not require a primary. We will provide more information about those primaries as it becomes available.
