Ervil Dar Asay turned 90 years old on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009. Ervil was born Dec. 20, 1919 in Cannonville, Utah to Joseph Edward and Susan Sariah Johnson Asay. He married Belva Herring, May 10, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married nearly 69 years when Belva passed away in March 2008. They have five children, Saundra, Ronald Lee, Sheila, Nila and Sue. They have 21 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Ervil was a shoe repairman and an expert, self-taught upholstery man. Ervil was a long-time resident of both Cedar City and St. George, Utah. He now resides in Bountiful, Utah. Happy 90th birthday!
