BRIAN HEAD – For the 15th year Brian Head Resort is welcoming visitors from all over to join them for festivities and fireworks, and the popular torchlight parade, to bring in the New Year.

Ron Burgess, Brian Head Resort’s director of sales and marketing, said those coming out should dress warmly and plan on having a good time.

Skiers and snowboarders will ride the lift to the top of the mountain and come down to the crowd next to Giant Steps Lodge, carrying red flares and making a beautiful pattern. Fireworks will also be set off. The torchlight parade and fireworks will begin at dusk, at about 6 p.m.

According a press release, a New Year’s Eve party will be after the torchlight parade and fireworks at Giant Steps Lodge on the third floor and the doors will open at 7:30 p.m.

There will be live music provided by Too Much Fun and plenty of room for dancing, the release reported.

Dinner is $40 a plate for adults $15 for children and will include prime rib and shrimp, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight with sparkling cider for the children.

For reservations call (866) 930-1010.
