80th Birthday: H.C. “Dutch” Deutschlander
H.C. “Dutch” Deutsch-lander will turn 80 years old on Jan. 24, 2010. There will be an open house in his honor at the Brian Head Town Hall Saturday, Jan. 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome to stop by and say hello. Dutch retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Marine Corps after 24 years, and moved to Brian Head in 1976. He has served the community and area as mayor for more than 30 years, except for one term when he was a town council member. He has four children – Tim (K.C.), Jolene, Doug, and “Chip” (Heather) – and seven grandchildren.
