The event was so successful that many would like to see it happen again, said Kathy Rodreick, Neil Simon Festival board chair.
The performers entertained with routines such as Lucille Ball’s “Vitameatavegamin” and Carol Burnett’s “No Frills Airline.”
“Seeing all those routines again really took me back,” one patron said.
Patrons from Cedar City, Las Vegas, St George, and the Salt Lake are came and enjoyed the unique evening’s comedy.
Rick Bugg, Neil Simon Festival founder, participated with Off The Cuff in reenacting some of the world’s greatest comedy sketches.
“What a blast,” he said. “It is certainly fun to work with such great and tested material. I hope that we can make this a regular part of our fare.”
Many businesses helped support the fundraiser including Hunter Cowan, The Wizz, Blue Sage Frame Shop, Cardon’s Shoes, Ladybug Nursery, Zion Sun Floral, The Garden House, Braun Books, Boomers Candy & Flowers, Hair Stylist Amanda Hansen, Christensen’s Dept Store, Cedar Music Store & Studio, Breakin Wind, Sears, Starbucks Coffee, Mary Kay Consultant Arlene Lane, Staples and the Hampton Inn.
