ENOCH – Gateway Preparatory Academy, a tuition-free K-8 Charter School in Iron County, will celebrate “Discover Montessori Week” next Monday through March 19.

All parents and community members are invited to discover the individualized program that celebrates the whole child. The week will include the following activities:

Guided tours of the school Monday through Thursday every half hour from 9 a.m. to noon.

“Unlocking Your Child’s Potential,” a parenting class focused on observing the unique nature of your child, and utilizing positive discipline in a prepared environment. Classes take place Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Childcare and an educational activity will be provided for small children.

The Montessori Expo, with students demonstrating Montessori lessons and materials, will take place March 19 from 9 to 11 a.m.

The Scholastic Buy One Get One Free Book Fair will be open Tuesday through March 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for parents and visitors to purchase books for home or as a gift to a classroom.
