Stowell recognized Robinson for the accomplishment of having a debt-free town for 12 years. He said the municipality is very well-managed.
He also prepared a certificate for the town board commending them for the town being debt-free.
Robinson said she wanted the senator to know it takes all the residents to make Paragonah the town it is.
“It takes us all to be where we are today,” she said.
Stowell said the certificates were planned to be presented on the floor of the state senate during the legislative session, but there ended up not being time so he brought them to the meeting instead.
The town board also approved the 2010-2011 budget, which has been cut 10 percent from last year, at the meeting.
